There’s an airy and inviting front parlor with high ceilings, parquet floors, moldings, a double-wide stained-glass window transom, and an entry bench and mirror.

Then there’s a homey beaut of a kitchen in the rear, with a hanging pot rack, butcher block counters and backsplash with handmade pottery tiles. (In a refreshing departure from current orthodoxy, the appliances are, gasp, white instead of stainless steel.)
