The first floor is a stately space, with bay windows in the front, and decorative moldings, wood columns, pocket doors, wainscoting, inlaid floors, coffered ceilings and other original woodwork.

The kitchen is newly renovated, with doors leading out to a deck and an adjoining area with a counter that among other attributes has an old-fashioned wall-mounted phone. There seems to be a rear garden in addition to the deck; presumably that’s yours as well.

The finished cellar is large, and could serve as home-office space, a TV room, a playroom or any combination thereof.

The layout is a little tricky. The unit appears to have been an original floor-through apartment, built circa-1900. Originally, it consisted of a double parlor in front, with a small (and windowless) bedroom in the center, and a dining room (or flex second bedroom) with coffered ceiling in the rear.

It’s listed as a two-bedroom, and there’s a decent amount of space if you count the finished cellar. Roommates could potentially use the outside rooms as bedrooms and the windowless “den” as common space; couples and families might prefer to use the two rear rooms as bedrooms, even though the inside one lacks a window.
