Are you ready to rhumba? If not, then get ready to dance to mambo, son, bolero and jazz. This Sunday, Flushing Town Hall will host From Cuba to Mexico, a free concert with Adela Dalto, a long-time fixture on the NYC Latin music scene and featured vocalist with Mario Bauza’s Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra and Arturo O’Farrill. A former backup singer for Celia Cruz, Dalto loves to mix Latin, Brazilian and jazz styles with her beautiful voice and fiery rhythms. And to make sure the crowd gets the full experience, Flushing Town Hall will offer free Latin dance lessons in its newly renovated garden for an hour before the show starts.

Details: From Cuba to Mexico, Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Boulevard, August 25th, 1 pm, free and no RSVP necessary, but first come, first served for seating.
