25-92 36th street

Curbed recently blogged about this Youtube listing for a house at 25-92 36th Street in Astoria which is asking a cool $2,000,000. The current owner is architect Jorge Bosch, who purchased the house in 2007 for $1,200,000. While he renovated the owner’s duplex, the two apartment units on the second and third floors remain unrenovated. So what will $2,000,000 get you? Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, two living rooms, a garage, back patio and a backyard that uses a rain water storage system. You can see the interior at the Brownstoner Marketplace listing. The two apartment units have 1,250 square feet and three bedrooms. According to the listing, those units are each worth $3,000 a month. The final verdict from Curbed? “We must say, we expected better from a $2 million listing in Queens.” Can’t say we disagree with them. How about you?
