Wood-fired pizza restaurant Milkflower officially opened for business last week at 34-12 31st Avenue in Astoria. They make their own mozzarella for the pizzas fresh daily and serve a wide variety of appetizers, including bruschetta and salads. The name of the restaurant refers to mozzarella made from cow’s milk, known as Fior di Latte, literally “flower of the milk” or “milkflower” in Italian. GMAP
