Retail Renovation for Astoria Boulevard Corner

The corner property at 30-18 Astoria Boulevard, right at 31st Street, is undergoing a big renovation. Over the summer the DOB issued permits for new retail stores. Back in 2012 they issued permits to remove interior walls and ceiling finishes. According to signage on the construction fence, the owners are currently trying to lease the space out. A rendering of the new space, which you can see after the jump, shows that they’re hoping to court a restaurant tenant. GMAP
