The Roaches. The agony
I live in the Bed-stuy-ish Southern williamsburg area. Our little rowhouse was abandoned forEVER before we moved in. The roaches are now, totally, completely out of control. we've tried natural, we've tried the home depot 'bomb' option. I want an exterminator, I NEED an exterminator. Who is effective? I'd prefer the least toxic, but I want the most dead bugs.

When I need some serious pulled pork and can't go home to KS for it, I will eat here and be satisfied. i always end up spending too much, though.

I go to the Myrtle location. Friendly service. After Hummus Place in manhattan, it's crap. But if i'm at home, it's it. Good prices.

i saw an employee drop the sangria spoon thing on the floor and then put it right back.
i'm not a germaphobe, but that seemed a little fast n loose for my taste.
the wait staff tends to be pretty satisfied with themselves...despite f'in up my orders.
i go to the de kalb outpost more often.
I will now go to la superior instead, probably. it had more of a 'holy crap this is good' than bonita ever has for me.

went with mother-in-law, who loved the everything.
I thought it was pretentious.
The baked Alaska rocked my socks, but everything else seemed too heavy and relatively obvious....
But again, a co-worker LOVED saul. I prefer a little more ingenuity in my experience.

I go here for brunch frequently. I wouldn't really go for evening meals...too pricey for what I get.
The desayuno Mexicana makes me smile. I'm a sucker for eggs with salsa.

My lovebug and I ate at dressler because we got 1000 opentable points for doing so. We were able to walk to it from our abode in Hill-Billy-Stuy-Ville, and enjoyed it from minute one. Sure, we weren't as hip as most of the folks there on a date, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. Service was what I want, which is friendly and helpful. There are definitely a few spots where the prices are about this high(saul, fleur de sel, are my most recent excursions) and the wait staff makes me feel terribly uncomfortable with their seemingly fake pretensions. Let it be noted that maybe I feel awkward being treated like I'm someone of inflated importance when, in fact, i'm just blowing some money on fancy food. The appetizers, as at most places, were pretty amazing, and the meat was extraordinarily yummer. I'm a chocolate maniac, so the fact that the souffle tasted like absolute filth nearly lost me. But honestly, the rest was so good it didn't matter. I liked the decor. It was a little loud, but sometimes I can handle that. I suspect it might be a little less rowdy earlier in the evening.
I suspect I wouldn't like the same place were it located in Manhattan.
It was pricy but great.
Let's agree to respect each other's views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Methinks/Mewonders what exactly you'd need an outlet in a closet for...growing something interesting in there?
sorry. not an answer to your query, but I had to ask.

I had one installed in a closet. Stashed my printer, modem, and router in there.

$90 sounds crazy and I'm pretty certain is against code to have an outlet in a closet.

it is NOT against code to have an outlet in a closet.

Call Paul from WCK Electric. I used his company for my renovations and they were great. Not sure if he will do a small job like this -- but its worth a try.

I strongly recommend Christopher John Electrical 718-389-9898.They will give you same day service.I had them rewire my older home and they were friendly and extremely clean. They even covered their shoes! I got a price up front so I didn't have any surprise fees. They had everything they needed right in their truck so they didn't have to take the extra time to go get supplies. I am going to use them during my whole restoring process!!

Hell yes, 11205 is ON ITS WAY.
Now that I have this and Tiny Cup, I feel thoroughly gentrified.(minus that drug bust shooting last week. whatevs)
The omelet I had was G-ROSS, and the lattes are one dollar more than Tiny cup, but it' s on the way to the subway, and has basic foody things. This neighborhood needs all the snuggly cafes it can get. And at least the staff doesn't have that "I am 22 and so oppressed by my coolness" problem that I often encounter at..um...Tillies.
Now I can focus on my "SHIKSA GODDESS" movement involving running, rollerblading, and biking up bedford in my skivvies.
