12:36, Don't understand the fascination with Fort Greene? This is the typical comment of someone from either PS, BH or CH. They can not understand or fathom the thought that a neighborhood that is not all lilly white may actually be cooler/hipper than there own. BH? Please , give me a break. I lived there for a few years before moving to FG and FG blows it away. All Brooklyn nabes have something cool and unique so lets not try to put others down to make yours better. Actually, BH is pretty cool too.

This is great news for this side of Fulton and for all of us who live nearby. The second floor of basically this entire block seems empty, does anyone know whats possibly comeing in the future? A bookstore would be great, even a Barnes and Noble. Once 525collection gets completed with its 30-33 luxury condos this part of Fulton will be jumping. Thanks Katrine for doing your part to improve the area.

I live in FG and kind of agree with 9:08. Before FG can hope to be compared to PS other things must change. More ammenities and less methadone clinics. Teen challenge is an eyesore with its hideous blue building which destroys Vanderbilt Ave. Gas station on Fulton and Vanderbilt is another eyesore that should close shop if we hope to see good things on that stretch of Fulton.

It looks like 12:39 is answering his or her own question (9:53). I agree that FG should not be compared to BH and maybe PS yet. I disagree with CH and CG. FG is hipper, cooler and more happening than those other neighborhoods. CH and CG are nice places but a bit bland compared to FG. The architecture in FG is much nicer than CH and CG by a long shot. FG is still a little rough on the edges but it will get there soon and then moveover PS.

I am also pleasantly surprised by the Clinton Hill 2.3M. It does great for the neighborhood comps. This part of CH and bordering FG still needs some improvement, and that will happen soon.
