I'm a website designer with small to large scale website experience. If you are looking to do a simple but nice looking information site (1 - 5 pages) then your costs will be around $500 - $1K. Email me if you would like to see some samples of my work.

Thanks,
AS

Homestead.com is very easy to use. If you can use MSWord, you can make your own site.

Tips for the web: For content, keep it pithy and relevant. Peruse listings for content you find especially helpful as a buyer.

Be careful using MS Word to create your website. It doesn't always work well with browsers other than Internet Explorer. Many web developers will set-up a free content management system-based website for you. So you pay for the initial set-up and then can update your content on your own.

I'd recommend finding a photographer as well. Good pictures are not easy to do as an amateur and it can make a big difference in impressions.

Good luck!

There's a new company starting up soon (found their link from
Brownstoner's salvage fest). They seem to do nice FSBO sites.

There's an excelent site already made for you that has a huge audience. It's call the New York Times. Post your decription, pics, and open house info. Everyone looks there when buying. Make sure your photos are nice. It doesn't cost too much either. We sold 2 coops that way.
