Scratches on Bamboo Floor

Too many months of rowdy parties and high heels have left scratches and even a few divots in our bamboo floor. any suggestions?
I know you cant fix this, but can you make it look nicer?

Sure they could move to Queens, but then we wouldn't be talking about what it's like to be middle class in the "prime" locations of Brooklyn!

Sure you can say "just move to Brownsville" and you could be rich!

Heck, a dual income couple who takes in $300K in this city is certainly upper middle class. And still couldn't afford this place...
They'd be rich anywhere else...

whatever class it is, I actually really like the interiors.
forget about wanting "original baseboards" or whatnot, my one requirement is a modern kitchen and that one looks like a beauty.

I think it still retains the charm, but just looks cleaner - like the sellers filled in the cracks and slapped a fresh paint job on. The location isn't my cup of tea, but the house, not bad at all..

Every day I walk past that thing and think, I should snap a pic and send it to Brownstoner!

I don't understand why they only put up the cinders on half the wall on the 4th Ave side? It looks short-bus.

i agree that it's sad there's no retail in these buildings (including mine). But then again, 4th doesn't get much foot traffic so it almost makes sense...

i have sympathy. Even though I don't think he should have closed if the apartment wasn't move-in ready. That's the buyer's foolishness (he was probably overly excited; I know we were when we closed on our new construction).

Regardless, that model apartment looks OUTRAGEOUSLY beautiful. How much would that go for? I mean, the location isn't the best in the slope, but for all that balcony space... I'm jealous.

This place looks beautiful from just these few pics. Why can't they sell? Is it the Kensington/ Windsor Terr. nabe? (I know nothing about RE in that area)

that was my friend's bar (Plan B) that set up the badminton (and beer pong table) and his kids selling the lemonade! It was really cute.

I have to disagree. I really like the modern renovated kitchen. probably would have liked different countertops, but I guess I can see where you would prefer an old world country charm instead in a house like that.

While the maintenance is out there, I think the asking price for an apt in that nabe, so close to the subway, with that view is pretty reasonable, and I definitely see it closing at or near asking

I went to a dark dining event there. It was fun except for the annoying Long Islanders who kept talking during the musical performance.
The food, however, was mediocre. It would have been "sorta good" food had we not spent so much $ for the experience. However, when you pay that much and get food you'd normally make at home, and when one of the courses is TOASTED BAGUETTE, it was a rip off.

why do i have a feeling Dave is right and this will go for about 2 mil?

The war is really Pedestrian vs. Cars (SUVs or Smartcars I don't care)

As a pedestrian who also has a car in PS, I am extraordinarily aware of cars when I walk. Yes I still cross a street when the walk signal is blinking, however I wont cross if it's stopped, even if the traffic light hasn't changed, because I know it's about to. This very morning I saw a dumb chick begin crossing Carroll and 4th Ave even as the traffic light changed! It only help up the cars for a few seconds, which isn't a big deal, but it could have been if the driver wasn't aware. In that case, it's not only the driver's fault for not paying attention, but the pedestrian too for putting herself in harms way.

I'm really sick of pedestrians not paying any attention.
