Intercom Repair

Hello!

I am looking for contractors who do intercom repairs. The folks the management (Esquire) company insists on using say that the whole system needs to be replaced, but only a few buzzers on the outside of the building do not work (contacts?), the buzzers in the vestibule work fine. The coop is two buildings with 16 apartments in each, it is not a large intercom system. Any suggestion would be great!

Coop Management Company needed!

Help!

We need a management company for our 31 unit coop building. The current company is useless beyond belief. There is a 'partime super" in the building but I am not quite sure what he does. I know his wife takes out the trash.

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Love Pete's! Good basic hearty Italian food... nothing gourmet or pretentious! Great place to have a party, they are very accomodating.

We sit at the bar all the time and have never, never encountered this. I do not want this to turn into an email back and forth but those are some pretty strong accusations and comments you are making. The owner is white, at least half the staff is white and everyone that works there is supper freindly and most them live in the neighborhood.

(the first time I posted two of my ratings did not come through so I have added them to this post)

My husband and I go to Tavern on Dean two or three times a month and we always enjoy it. It is not gourmet food and it does not pretend to be. We have a few favorites and we are never disapointed, their specials are usually quite good and their burgers and sandwiches are awesome! Brunch is pretty good as well.

http://www.sohostudiocorp.com/contact.html Try these folks. They have many expensive knock offs. We found one here that we saw at Ann Sacks for mucho bucks and it had a six week lead time. At Soho it was around bucks a square foot. Call first they have odd hours and are closed on Saturdays.

Good Luck!

This place is incredible and they sell knock offs... we found a glass tile that sold at Ann Sacks for more 40 bucks a square foot with a 6 week lead time. We bought it here for 15. Nice folks but they are closed on Saturdays.

Good luck!

Very similar type of 'muggings' were happening a few months ago in Prospect Heights. The 'muggers' concentrated mostly on young men listening to Ipods or talking on cellphones.

I wonder if it is the same group of bored youths?

Thank you for your suggestions! I will forward them to the coop board. By the way! We have the lovely Esquire group now.

HOW can ANYONE like Esquire Management be in business? They give UNPROFESSIONAL a whole new meaning. Newport Management is also a very double dealing and underhanded outfit. How are these companies allowed to operate??? I guess money talks and ethics walk!

OH I forgot and hope it is not too late. If you do get rid of Esquire, please, please please get all your financial records, bank statements, copies of utility bills, and especially your W2 info for all past tax seasons... our co op got rid of Esquire and NEVER got any records back from them!!! NONE. We had to contact the IRS to get W2 info out. ALSO... ESQUIRE Co mingles their various property accounts funds... need proof? Ask them for online access to your reserve account... which you should be able to get... you won't get it because they have all their accounts under their name... at HSBC when we were wtih them
They should be put out of business!!

if its not too late, try Crosstown Management, speak with the President - Mr. Anthony Musto. They have a lot of experience. They own & manage in excess of over 75 Million a year. They also have an inhouse Maintenance team.

Wherever you go, negotiate.

Turn your back and walk if the price is too high.
