Is Ivy on Facade Okay?

We have a brownstone (actually a brick with brownstone finish) and our neighbor's ivy is growing across our facade. I think it looks pretty, but am worried it will cause damage. How do I know if it's okay to leave it there?

Ikea, Target, Pottery Barn, Pier 1—all these places sell framed art, ready-to-hang. Might not be the same art you'd choose to live with forever, but affordable, and with wide enough appeal for staging purposes. Interesting, affordable, original art can be purchased at: http://www.20x200.com/

Art can be rented from prop supply houses, for example: http://www.modernartforrent.com/
Textiles and wall art from fair trade sources like: http://www.tenthousandvillages.com/

Try BWAC--Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook, across from Fairway on weekends.
