summer house swap, brooklyn for sf

My parents would like to do a two week (or so) house swap sometime this summer. They live in a three story, four bedroom, 1910 classic Edwardian San Francisco home, in the Upper Castro/Upper Haight area. They would like to swap for a brownstone/townhouse in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, North Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, or Cobble Hill area.

I've looked on some house swapping websites, but most don't have many options in Brooklyn.

i had checked out homeexchange.com before, but i thought that you had to pay $99 to see the listings. i just checked again, and was able to see house listings (you have to pay to contact the owners), but here were some really nice ones.

onadelphi, we try to convince our members at JewettStreet.com to add pictures to their listings. It does increase the chances of attracting interesting home exchange partners. I will ask the brooklyn home exchanger to add pictures for you. Maybe he will!

onadelphi, The "Brooklyn Brownstone Owner" did reply to my request to add pictures to his site. Here is his response:

"In the past we just provided pictures directly to the interested exchangers and have had a very positive experience with the site."

Your parents could add their listing with JewettStreet and contact the owner of the Brownstone. Membership is free.
