Are you sure you got the right place? I was quite the Robots habitue in my younger and cuter days. Robots didn't open until 1 or 2 AM and the only drink that I remember being served was Vodka that was kept in plastic tonic/seltzer bottles and juice. But if you arrived early enough they had potato chips. A college friend of mine worked the door (at one point a bullet proof vest became necessary) and later DJ'ed there.
Maybe my kids can go to the Robots owners' new venue.
