Maytag Stackable Washer

Model # MLG2000AWW. In amazing condition. It came with my apartment and I've used it for 1 year without any problems. Not sure how old it is but runs great and I've had no issues.
Selling to be more eco-conscious. Otherwise I love this machine!
Width: 27", Height: 71-7/8", Depth: 27-1/2"
Online I saw that the approx. shipping weight is: 450lbs.
Checked online prices for this machine NEW and the average is $1700-1900.
PICK UP ONLY. I HAVE A FREIGHT ELEVATOR. CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.

Windows

Does any know someone who replaces windows and frames and can "match" the style of the building? We need durable, economical and efficient windows but something that matches the style of an old warehouse would be ideal. Originals not in place to match.

radiators

Does anyone have experience removing and cleaning up old radiators vs. removing and purchasing new ones? Any recommendations for who could do the work? Thanks

Thanks quest. Any chance you can recommend someone that cleans, repaints, re-installs with new fittings? Thanks!

Thanks quest. I read that steel is not durable over time because of rusting and necessary regular maintenance. Any thoughts? We're hoping for long lasting and least time/money needed for upkeep/repairs.

If you are still in the market, I am selling a great condition used Maytag Stackable:

Seems to fit all your criteria and I dry tons of things in it- loads of towels, jeans, small rugs- never a problem.
Could be a good deal on something that works like new.

a 2 in 1 ventless system. i air dry a lot so this seems like a good solution to using less water/energy.

No, It's not energy star from what I can see.
I'm listing it at $500, but I'll take offers.

If they were in a building that was heated there should be no problems other than cosmetic (usually). Then they just need to be "bled." If however they were in a building that was "cold" and they had water in them, then cracks are a potential issue. They can be pressure tested with a simple home made gauge and 20 lbs of air pressure.

If you do get a plumber, make sure he/she has experience with old radiators. The problem with replacing them is cost: cost of moving them out and moving new or replacement radiators in.

very important - is your heating system steam or hot water? if steam i would not recommend replacing. cast iron steam radiators are very versatile, and when you replace them (as I did) there can be major problems with the valves, vents, etc. that can make you life miserable.

if they work, do not fuck with them.

If they're steam it's not hard to work on them because they're easy to move. However, if they are working fine and they are old, I would think twice about relacing fittings. Often you can be asking for trouble. If they are fancy ornate radiators I would clean them up. If they're butt ugly full of old paint I would consider having some nice oak covers made. Good luck.

You are asking for three things that can't happen together. Durable, economical, efficient; you have to pick two out of the three, but you can't have them all.

steel windows were used in historical industrial buildings. you aren't going to get "matching" out of anything except steel.

Yes, same guest.

I'm trying to track what's being said about steel windows: they're matchable, but not durable or thermally efficient?

Hi: I'm curious about your remark, "selling to be more eco-conscious." Have you found a washer/dryer that uses less electricity and water than this one?

So how much do you want for this? is it an energy star machine?
