Now that people have moved into 1 BBP, is there any feedback or preliminary impressions from an actual resident?

it looks like the same apt in the same run-down condition 3 floors higher closed recently for 560,000. maybe their ask is not too far off

I agree--they are asking too much for a lovely house situated right between two housing projects. Such close proximity to the projects often results in re-sale challenges.

It's also five steps from the projects

it looks like units are renting there, but not selling at all. The common charges are ridiculous

I have a friends in the bldg too and they love it. The pre-war construction is great... unless you live under someone very noisy. The maintenance is very reasonable. And the location can't be beat. The apt is obviously empty so maybe the sellers just want a quick exit. I would go for the top floor unit, though. Then you never have to worry about someone walking on your head.

This is a great deal. One bedrooms in this bldg usually go for 550-600. The drawback may be the eastern exposure. Who wants to listen to the construction on College Pl/Love Lane all day?

i think the bldg has a shuttle bus which runs to/from the borough hall station

I just read a streeteasy thread on the bldg which reports common charge increases already. And I thought they were high to begin with!

This place is still wildly overpriced. I'll make the extra effort to go to Trader Joes and Fairway.
