This country was founded upon religious freedom. Even Brooklyn was called the Borough of Churches at one time. Let is not forget our heritage. Even if you don't believe, have respect for those that do. Thank You and God bless.

New York City will be testing 10 of these led lamposts sometime this spring at an undisclosed location. They will probably announce it via the media when they are installed with much fanfare. These lights will eventually replace all of the standard cobra head lights which have served the city for over 40 years.

I ate there a couple of years ago with some co-workers. The food is pretty good and the prices were very reasonable at the time.

It is a shame that families have to be exposed to this smut in their neighborhoods. They have a right to raise their children in a non-threatening environment. NYC better wake up! This would not have happened under Giuliani's watch.

I remember when this theatre was shuttered in the eighties. The circle looked like a ghost town! What an improvement to the area!

I think this building would look much better if it was illuminated in white led or metal halide bulbs. Sodium vapor is so eighties!

Back in the seventies, I lived in the area and went there all the time with my family. It was totally different then. It was like a regular NY Pizzeria. You didn't have to wait long and only neighborhood people went there. When I read in the papers that it was a popular place, I was shocked. So I went back to the old nabe and saw a line outside the pizza place and couldn't believe my eyes. People from Brooklyn Heights and other areas were salivating and complaining about how long they were waiting, but that it was worth the wait. So I decided to wait and wait for what seemed like an hour. The pizza was very good so I guess the wait maybe was worth it. My advice is to go when you have time on your hands and bring some family or friends and grab a table, maybe a deck of cards and spend time in some good conversation because the chances are good that you will be there awhile.

I like the idea, except for photo number 4. They should keep Coney Island family friendly. The subway car looks nice!
