I don't like the headline. It's not green if it includes parking. Sure, there are lots of good reasons why people out there might own a car, but that doesn't mean we should buy them a parking spot.
If someone doesn't want the apartment because it doesn't come with free parking, that's fine. Let someone else have it.

Fill it in, don't cover it.

Will this development have parking? I'm all for helping the poor, but not for subsidizing anyone's parking spot.

If they're planting trees, they can take as many lanes as they like.

Go there this Sunday. The street will be closed to cars and you can eat outside and get all the ambience you need.
In case readers don't realize, these bungalows are literally half a block from a gorgeous, empty, ocean beach.

Didn't Gore win New York by a landslide? Why would anyone here regret voting for Nader?

Warning: I'm pretty sure it's group camping only, so don't show up with your family and expect to get a spot.

The old Erasmus building was in pretty good shape as recently as 6 or 7 years ago. But the AP who took care of it and ran it as a museum retired and the existing schools were shut down and there's no one left with any connection to it. Last I checked there were broken windows and the stench of cat pee was disgusting.
I hear you can visit the old Flatbush jail in the basement of a school around the corner - I think it's where the old Town Hall was.

Is there a reason you omit the cross streets?
Our schools are cutting their budgets while there's money to build underground parking. Are you freakin' kidding me?

A plan to attract more drivers to downtown Brooklyn. Is this a leftover from the Moses era?
