scooter off the street and safe behind bars.

We passed by this house the other day. They had put in some planters and made scooter parking in the front yard. Look like a good ides to us. It’s one answer to parking scooters in Brooklyn.

Good + Fast = Expensive
Choose good and fast and we will postpone every other job, cancel all appointments and stay up 25-hours a day just to get your job done. But, don't expect it to be cheap.

Choose fast and cheap and expect an inferior job delivered on time. You truly get what you pay for, and in our opinion this is the least favorable choice of the three.

Thank you pig three

You can only pick one. When you pick one the others go away.

Why is everybody bitching?
Is this not a beautiful place to live?
Must all the postings be put-downs?

I hope all the buildings like this that have been built over the last two years are the last to sell, so that when the next building boom comes along the motto will beautiful buildings sell first ugly building sell last. Of curse this would pre-suppose some decimation on the part of the buyers.
It looks like a bad stage set in a Tudor play.
Architectural illiterates made manifest.
Shelter from the weather.

What, you are a fool
I would rather have my money in land than in stocks.
Owning land in one of the most desirable cities on the planet is more fun than owning stocks. It is more fun than hording a pile of gold under your bed. but may fun is for asshates. What!!

Shahn Andersen another wing nut through back to the NY 1975

Andersen = Pack rat architecture !!
Rarner = Scary and pathetic architecture !!

Rarner and Andersen deserve each other but why do we have to suffer?

The building can be as tall as the street is wide in this zone on a 20/25ft wide lot. Flatbush Avenue is about 80ft wide.

No wonder the courts are clogged. Cutting a few branches off a tree is likely a good thing for both your lawn and the tree. And you got it done for free.
If they had asked you would have let them cut the branches? I think yes.

The scale of that little old run down townhouse looks crazy compared to the new building.
It really dose point out how selfish townhouse living is. The new building allows 10 families could live in the foot print of 1 townhouse. No wonder there is a housing shortage in new york.

What is it code word for?

“I hope you Asshats take that bet”

Why do you care what bets the “Asshats” take?
If you are right just sit back and enjoy the show.

But your view "The Great Depressionis" is analogous to not living life because you know you will die one day.

Do us all a solid, be generous, live your life and die happy and leave the “Asshats” to the “Asshats”

wasder:
You should stop reading this site in regards to buying or owning real estate in Brooklyn. Brownstoner is populated with do nothing own nothing posters. These sour-grape posters are too stunted by anxiety to have bought anything in the past. These sour grapes fools were complaining in 1995 that a brown stone in park slope cost $350,000.00 now they are complaining it cost $1.5M+ they will still be living in there 500sqft studio complaining when a brown stone in park slope cost 5.5M+.
wasder:
Buy the house you need and don’t be side tracked by sour-grape posters who don’t have a pot to piss in.

since you are on 14th street... Ruben will be finishing the floors of my friends new bar tomorrow, if you care to check out his work. It is on the corner of 13th and 8th Avenue (formerly pumpkins). I believe his website is rubensflooring.com.

Ruben worked for Verrazano for several years before starting his own business recently. Therefore, his prices are very reasonable as he is building a client base.

How funny! I also live on 14th Street, just rented an apartment to new tenats, and am planning on having the floors refinished before they move in. Thanks for posting this and welcome to 14th Street.
