Coop Commercial Mortgage Rates?
Hello, my small member-run coop is considering refinancing our small underlying mortgage. Does anyone know what the commercial rates for small coop loans are at these days? We're currently paying 8.8%

Im looking to have 3 rooms (approx 600 sq feet) in an older building in prospect heights sanded, stained and refinished. I'm looking for honest and reliable tradesmen with good examples and references. Who would you suggest I contact?

Tasty personal pizzas. Yummy small plates that are, yes, small. Pasta is good and the wine is nicely chosen. It can get very loud (bad acoustics) and the service can be absent-minded. Very good for Flatbush, good for Prospect Heights, "meh" for Brooklyn in general.

1:49- Those seem to be just the shapes, not the design of the townhouses. There is an earlier post that shows more detail. Im pretty sure they are basic brick townhouses. I guess that its in order to highlight the changes to the historic building or somehow differentiate the project's phases.

Make-a-frame
180 Atlantic ave
Brooklyn, NY 11201
(718) 875-6150
They've been around for a long time and they do a great job at a resonable price. They are located in the cobble hill/brooklyn heights area on Atlantic ave.

Second the recommendation for Make a Frame on Atlantic. We've had several things framed by them, they do an excellent job and are super nice and helpful.

Frame Me on 3rd Avenue Between 91 Street and 90th Street in Bay Ridge. She does very good work, and her prices are fair.

These are decent if you are looking to do something really cheap like a poster. They only offer plexiglass:

For a more high end choice (when you have original art that needs a really good aesthetic eye, and an understanding of how best to protect the art) check out Prints Charming run by Darren Von Stein. The store moved a year ago to 4th St nr the corner of 5th Ave. Darren isn't inexpensive but he's damn good.

Sarcasm never works well on the internet, I should have learned that. Your conclusion that "Obviously, no one thought the building was worth anything" based on no-one buying it at the huge price tag completely ignores what all those in the community who couldn't afford it, yet value it, have to say. So your conclusion is not "obvious" or logical, unless the finacially dismepowered don't even get into the "no one" category in your scheme.
I say:
If 288 a square foot would have bought this place and no one who "values" it bought it, then I have to question your use of the word "value". If "value" never has to translate into monetary value, what meaning can it have on the open market? Seriously, this place sold for dirt cheap to someone who will treat it like dirt. If you feel otherwise, well then, pony up bucko. Otherwise, keep your "value" talk where it belongs... in the bargain bin.
