Thermocrete vs rebuild
Has any one used Thermocrete to seal their flue? After getting a $5K per chimney quote to rebuild each flew (brick & mortar), we had AAA Chimney (they offer Thermocrete) quote "relining" our 1st and second floor chimneys. Cost 10K.
Thanks!

Thanks, Rehab.
I did see your photos before I posted this.
Basically, it costs the same ($5k per AAA) per flue using Thermocrete vs a "traditional" relining - so there is a saving on not needing to do cosmetic work. The only benefit I see from using Thermocrete is there is no need to break walls/brick, etc.
Asked for a quote on only one flue (first floor); lets see what they come back with.
Best!
