PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FOR SMALL CONDO BUILDING
Can anyone recommend a property management company for a new condo? We're a small building (6 apartments) and all of us are new to this condo board thing. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, local company who can handle bills, common charges, housekeeping, etc?

I'd suggest using Wright Management - I bought last year in a 7 unit condo building - and after research on here and the neighborhood - we chose these guys. Good, family owned business..
Speak with Kijanah (key-a-nah) Wright - 917-544-6791
FYI - my building is on Nostrand between Lafayette & Clifton..

Just my 2 cents: I used these guys for our first house - they were great. Did the job, paid them, they left. Simple.
That first poster was right though - it's not like it's the boiler man - I think the line about
"I'm going to use this company from now on" is pretty bogus..
But still - I have used them and no complaints.

Baracking it and not stopping it!!
Honestly - I echo the above poster - Hillary's "experience" is crap.
It's time for her to come to her senses and get behind the next president - Barack Obama.

As a result of the above recommendation I contacted Henry to do some work at my house. We met to discuss the jobs and pricing. I scheduled him to start Monday, but he didn't show up. When I called to find out where he was he said he was changing his quote (one he set himself -- I accepted his pricing and didn't haggle or negotiate). He wasted my time and I would not recommend him. He's unreliable.

You can try calling Mr. Anthony Musto of Crosstown Management, they are very experienced & themselves own a lot of property in the Park Slope area. He can be reached at (718) 937-8100 or (917) 405-8100. Tell him Casey of 6922 21st gave the recommendation.

Housebywe offers both buying/selling services as well as renovation/project management services. We just used Erin and Ari (of Housebywe.com) to act as our buyers brokers and handle a long-distance home search for us. They were AWESOME! SO professional, down to earth, and extremely, extremely knowledgable. We definitely couldn't have done it without them. If we needed a project manager for a renovation, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm still hoping that a 4br pops up, but I guess I'm not crossing my fingers anymore. Thanks Liani, unfortunately I already live in that neighborhood and am looking to more more towards where there are more restaurants/bars/etc.
But the original goal of this post was to find brokers. Interesting that no one offered any, is it a faux pas on Brownstoner to recommend? Or just been done/not interesting?
