Condo can't get c of o
I bought into this condo under a temporary c of o. Now the building cannot get a permanent c of o and everyone here is living without c of o. What can we do?

This is not a new listing. I think Brown Harris or Corcoran had it for a month at same prices. Good luck. I went by and place was Home Depot special. The basement had flooded and the ground floor apartment stunk of mold and bleach.
I guess the sponsor thought he could make more money by going with a no name agency. Sponsor is on crack to ask these prices.

This is not a 'fauxdega' - these guys also have a store on 5th ave straight up the block, and i often go there when I can't make it to the food coop - yes it's more expensive, but it's good overall. i welcome the new store to our hood.

Au contraire is right.
I went to this restaurant early one evening on New Year's Eve. The appetizers were okay, but fish was dry and service was horrible. The couple that owns it seemed nice at first, but the guy acted like a complete jerk and was very rude as he practically threw us out so he could turn the table over. It was a two top! I love bistros, I love moutarde down the street and wish that this was another great addition to 5th Avenue. It pails in comparison to Red that housed it before and I can't wait til this restaurant is gone!
why would they ask that much for that house on Dean and then go with someone like Brown Harris to try to get that number... if they are going to price gouge they are certainly never going to get that number with Brown Harris... owners need to stop acting like it's 2007!!! i guess 950k tops! or it will sit on the market forever as it slowly gets worse and worse for seller. brokers don't take listings if your seller is a fool!

i think it looks pretty good for the neighborhood and I live close by. does anyone know if it's now changed to rental due to the condo market crashing? to the person that doesn't know about 4th ave, why are you even on brownstoner? are you kidding? come on out and we will buy you a beer.
best,
Lee

some developers might start reducing, but the small ones probably not... they've got banks to pay and need your money to do so, can sit on the sidelines til it all comes back around and rent them and hold-em. the only ones selling now must have to, but as far as drastic reductions in prime areas - not happening. some negotiability will happen, not so much. and you really sound like you are bssinggg, unless you are talking about williamsburg, which we all know has been bs from the beginning...
best of luck,
lee

This is what happens for the few developers who don't have bank loans - they sit tight on the prices as they have investors promised payoffs at x, but those promises were made in a different market and so alas, developer waits them out...
