i've only been here for brunch and always enjoy it. ingredients are good and fresh and the french toast might be the best i have had here. only one bad experience - three tables left at exactly the same time and subsequently, were sat at the same time. so the service and food timing was off. other than that, it remains a standard in our dining out options.
what happened to blue mountain? i got all excited for jerk chicken but it was nowhere to be found :(

a lot of vendors offer discounts at the flea. when it first opened there were a few online (ie etsy) vendors that had tables so it was nice to put face to online store.
real flea markets fine. but i like walking over early and the day and having some tacos and shaved ice.
i see people that live on my block there. people i see on the train every day. local vendors. it's a nice community feel. and that part is real.
while i agree that some vendors are a little pricey, i also wouldn't have found out about them if it weren't for the flea. and also, if i were to head upstate or to nj or ct i'd have to rent a car which would nullify those 1/2 prices you're talking about.
just saying.

the first time i ate there was last year - we got really horrible service and the food was subpar. i'd like to give it another chance but haven't gotten around to it yet.
my calendar is always marked for the flea! can't wait for this.
