extension
I would like to add a pretty small 1st floor extension to the back of my brownstone- my townhouse is about 17 feet wide but the extension will only be about 14 feet wide- I would was wondering about how much it will cost to add a small extension to our house- I am new to the reno world-
thanks

^If you're going full width, your primary restrictions then become
• keeping a 30 foot rear yard
• making sure you don't build more square feet than you have FAR
Good luck.

I had a 15x15 brick extension added to my townhouse at a cost of 40k. We left some of the walls exposed brick if that affects the price at all. If interested I used L&N Masonry to do the work and can share pictures.
good luck

oh that would be great if I could do the full width- my neighbors all did extensions that we not the full length so I thought I might have to as well- but I am sure they did their extensions before 1996- thanks for the insight!
