WANTED: HOME IN BROOKLYN

Hello all. I am a genuine buyer, who needs a home in Brooklyn. Needless to say, everyone's a little uncertain about selling and inventory is pretty limited. I'm looking for 1400+ sqft, 2+ bedrooms, (ideally a house, but doesn't have to be) in Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Fort Green or DUMBO. My budget is low seven figures. Crucially I don't have anything to sell and I need to move quickly. Please let me know if you're interested in selling. Many thanks.

Sweet, 2.39. Sadly I don't know how to extend my contact info. I tried clicking on your illuminated name-thing, but to no avail. Help!

2.21 your syntax has left me confused - so excuse me if I missed your point. I'm not looking for any "inside scoop", I'm looking for somewhere to live.

Why do you feel the need to critique my posting?

If you don't have somewhere to sell, move along and vent your frustrations elsewhere.

There is no great conspiracy here. I've pretty much revealed my budget, so I'm not looking to screw anyone.

I just can't find the house I'm looking for amongst the listing on all the RE sites.

That's all. I'm not a broker. I want to buy a house for me and my family. This seemed like a means of possibly doing that.

Thanks 2.18. I was beginning to find the cynicism a little overwhelming.

My my, you're all quite prickly aren't you? I'm sorry if I offended you with the laziness / stupidity / audacity of my post. I trawl all the real estate websites every day. Hence my observation that inventory is thin. The purpose of this post was to try and tease out those people that may be thinking it's too risky to sell. I am here as a genuine buyer trying to generate the supply to meet my demand.

Hi I needahouse,
Sadly, i don't have one for you but just wanted to say ignore all the negativity if you can - some people thrive on it. Good for you for getting creative and moving beyond the standard - I hope it works out!

don't RE brokers have genuine buyers behind them, and why they want listings...your request is unfortunately no different then the rest, all want the inside scoop, and whether from a genuine individual or a broker, real people want a home.
