This place will not survive with just rock climbing they should make it a GOOD Health Club also, we need one in the area.

I like my lobsters waterboarded first, then killed

I just got one from Soverign Bank just took a about 7 days, no problem at all. However my credit score is above 800 and the rate now is about 5.0 that I received for now. If you own a 3 family Brownstone you shouldn't have much of a problem, unless you have bad credit and have no rents coming in.

I eat thier at least once a week. This place is the best, thier food will give you a culinary orgasm. Doug the owner is very personable and the staff very attentive. We needed a restaurant in the neighborhod of this quality. This place is packed just about every nite. Get thier early on Thu, Fri or Sat because its packed with people waiting to eat and its worth the wait. Don't miss this jewel it can compete with any top restaurant in the city.

Some people don't seem to mind drug dealers as long as they leave them alone, however, when two drug dealers decide to shoot it out for some stupid reason and a lone bullet finds its way to a child and kills them. Your not as safe as u think.

You want this drug dealing in brooklyn to stop? Tell Charlie Hynes to start prosecuting these people instead of pleading the cases to nothing. Brooklyn next to the Bronx has the worst proseuction rate in the 5 boro's (check the internet its true). Im a ret. NYPD Detective, your state legislature wants to get rid of the Rockefeller Drug Laws that put these guys away for a long time. As far as the cops being on the take, that is total BS. Start electing some crime fighters in Brooklyn & Albany instead of bleeding heart lberals and you might see drug dealers actually go to jail. Typical drug dealer is out in 3 days and dealing again on the street. Its a joke...

Finally an honest company running another newspapaer. Ever notice in the crime by precinct section of the Brooklyn Paper they never give the descriptions of the robbers/muggers. Wouldn't that be good for us to know? And why don't they do that? The victims always give descriptions of the perpetrators.

If its done by the NY Times the formatting may be right but the facts won't be, this organization has a record of printing lies. Kick ther butts Brownstoner.

I refinanced my brownstone just a couple of weeks ago at Brooklyn Federal Savings Bank at 4.75% 30 year Jumbo, they posted this rate for one day. I had no problem with the re-financing. They told me if you have a credit rating above 700 you can get easy financing.

People who lost thier jobs are the only ones who should be helped. If you bought too much house and make too little money to pay the mortgage you should lose the house and be evicted. Now if you were conned by a predatory lender you should get some help also. But thats it....

I wouldn't worry about it. I have lived about a block or so from thier for 14 yrs and know just about everyone in the hood and I haven't heard of anyone with health problems related to that site.

snark - Typical far left liberal, going no where, doing nothing, very upset with people who actually work for a living, thinking Obama is the Messiah, believing the world owes them a living, am I right? Maybe, maybe not but i have reas some of your posts, seems like you are the one sleeping and haven't woken up since birth.

When I bought my brownstone seemed like every week something was broken, then when I came home from vacation a day earlier my watermanin broke and I had Niagra Falls in my basement. If I didn't get home that day earlier my house would of been under water. It does suck in the beginning but little by little you fix things and before you know it you have made the place yours. Thats a great feeling, so chin up and welcome to the world of home ownership.

Hang on to your condo, coop don't worry about it being worth less for now, just live in it and when the market comes back and it always does your equity will go through the roof.

Sam-- your hilarious Oh yes on January 20th a socialist was elected president.

God help us... believe me he will be out in 2012. In 2 years republicans will take back congress. But I would rather have the whole toilet (congress) flushed out and term limits in place so it wouldn't be corrupted as it is today.

That alleged press conference last night was a speech. He's going to let Pelosi and Reid destroy our economy.

Remember Nino's on Union near the 76Pct, these are the same people and the food is great. I have been eating at Nino's (now under new managment again) for 20 plus years and the same guys are working at Vinny's the food tastes exactly the same. Thier Veal Parm hero is fantastic and Im addicted, not to mention the great meatballs and its cheap. I had them cater my Super Bowl party 2 years ago. Everyone raved about the food.

The New York Times is a rag, I lost count of how many times the paper printed outright lies. This is why its slowly going out of business. I want a paper I can rely on for the facts, not its ideaology. Save your money within the next 3-5 years the NY Times will be out of business, nobody can trust it any longer.

Sebb,

All compstat will do is drive all the commanders crazy like it always does. The PD will be made to do more with less and until the PD keeps up its hiring as it should the crime will go up. Or until the whole city is gentrified.

Overall the crime rate in NYC is on the way up. Ever notice that all the major cities with the highest crime rates are run by Democrats, if u don't believe me check it out. Detroit, Baltimore, Wash DC. Los Angeles, Newark to name a few. It wasn't until Guliani came to NYC things turned around, I know because Im a retired NYPD Detective. Now with the rise in crime in NYC we have our Mayor Bloomberg, who is a democrat at heart and changed his party just to be elected. All my fiends who are still on the job tell me crime could get to where it was if we don't maintain the Guliani-Bratton Strategy. It appears though that Ray Kelly is helpless because of the cuts being made in the Police Dept.and the focus on Terrorism. Safe Streets and effective Law Enforcement requires money, especially in a city like NY if Bloomberg does not allocate more for Law Enforcement we could go back to the "Good Ole Days".

These idiots have no clue of what they are talking about. First of all you cannot just change flight patterns. Thier is a specific reason they fly over park slope and other locations. Planes must land into the wind, and other weather patterns call for specific routes. These morons know nothing of what they request and should do some research before they open thier mouths. Typical liberals with nothing to do.

You go to be kidding me, the food in thisplace is way, way overpriced and lousy. I had the worst italina meal I ever had in this place. Its was Seafood Fra Diovlo. Some of may neighbors also say the same thing. Red Rose is way better by far.
