Clearing failure to maintain

I got a failure to maintain violation for a facade issue. I've now made the repairs. How do I get the violation lifted? Do I have to pay a fine?

Looks like TLH and probably apratment1 are developer shills. Or developer shills, from the NYT:

"Now it has been revived as the Butler Plaza, an 80-unit condominium, by Herman Frederick and Ted Hilles, Brooklyn developers specializing in rehabilitation and historic restoration."

Ted ? Hilles = TLH.

Typical crapola '80s conversion. Needs a big price chop.

Wow, you're really sharp! A bit late, it appears.

You should move out immediately. Obvioulsy, it's very hazardous to live in a place with no c of o.

What a self-entitled little prick.

He (or she)has no money but needs a new apt. Rather than hitting the streets like most people would in that situation, they enlist the services of a realtor, who, fairly enough, asks to be paid. He signs a contract (blindly 3 times) and now wants to be let out of it, well, because, "in our situation, it's nothing to sneeze at."

There's a reason your credit score is low and that's because you live your life like this. Your word means nothing and your signature means nothing. And now you'd like the government to bail you out. Why not, they're bailing everyone else out.

This is why the What is right. Asshats like this douche should be run back to Ohio, or Nantucket, Where Chip and Muffy can bail them out.

Rob, you're WAY out of line on this. Or have you had too many martinis to know the difference?

I'm a regular poster with a regular user name.

But look what ID I just snagged to make snarky comments? hehe

Ya know, 'Stoner, you say that one can read people's posts to get a sense of who they are. I complained to you, under my other username, some time ago, that most of the posts people make are in fact not saved.

Since you're paying close attention to this thread, care to comment?

Nice work Op.
Brooklyn, your friend was lucky, back in the days they broke into our house 3 times from the back yard. A good number of our neighbors still have window bars securing the back parlor and ground fl windows.

After living in many neighborhoods in Bklyn we are thinking of leaving Park Slope for Clinton Hill - more value and quiet streets actually. We found a place on Clinton Avenue at Dekalb. Has anyone experienced a high rate of crime in this particular area?

Mq1, are you sure those two guys weren't a couple of Havard, er Pratt Professors that were locked out of their own apts. Hope they don't accuse you of profiling.

crwnlfc - Did the poster mention the race of the would be intruders? Are you making assumptions....? Seems like you made a very unimportant parallel to an unfortunate incident in your post.....

-sigh- Thanks everyone and Babs, special thanks to you for your advice. I promise I won't dance naked in the hallway; it would not have been a pretty sight. It's just so frustrating to have your financial life in the palm of a body as unaccountable and absolute as a co-op board. Their rejection may well spell utter diaster for me whereas their approval, given the circumstances, would hardly constitue a hardship to the coop in anyway. I know that the board doesn't have to take my interest into account, but it just seems so wrong that so much of my life is depend on the board literally saying, "well, I just like purple better than lavender...so no to lavender". KWIM?
