Rent regulation exists because the market has failed New Yorkers. New York City needs affordable housing for the thousands of workers on whom the city depends that cannot afford market rates. If the market was working, it would not need government intervention.

Vacancy decontrol completely undermines the rent regulation system. Overturning vacancy decontrol is necessary to make rent regulation effective.

Moreover, bloggers rely on newspapers and wire services for much of their content. They generally provide commentary on the news, rather than original reporting. We need real investigative journalism to keep people honest.

It's a beautiful space run by amazing people. I've only done the group acupuncture so far, which was very relaxing, but I heard the yoga classes are great. Visit the website for a good explanation of the sliding scale fees.
