In a Talking to Americans segment on the television series This Hour Has 22 Minutes during the 2000 American election, Rick Mercer convinced then-Governor of Texas George W. Bush that Canada's Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien, was named Jean Poutine and that he was supporting Bush's candidacy. A few years later when Bush made his first official visit to Canada, he said during a speech, "There's a prominent citizen who endorsed me in the 2000 election, and I wanted a chance to finally thank him for that endorsement. I was hoping to meet Jean Poutine." The remark was met with laughter and applause.[13]

There's a ton of great viet food in nyc. There's a decent one right off of Smith st but I can't remember the name of it. I do know that 4ave pub has their menu though! Acquaint yourself bitches.

yea that's some great work. it's crazy how different downtown brooklyn looked back in the day. the building they razed to create the supreme court building looked amazing.

FIRST: bike lanes make a HUGE difference.
SECOND:
"I can't say how many times I've had to sWerve out of a way of a biker turning on a red light, running through a red light, or just driving in-between cars in heavy traffic. "
I love this defense - as if car drivers follow all traffic rules themselves.
NOBODY SAID IT'S FAIR but cyclists MUST get deference from drivers. The onus is on the driver to watch out for people who can easily be injured but not easily injure...regardless of whether or not they are reckless.

It's too narrow by the bar...the bathroom is always smelly...the bands are sometimes decent but never exceeding decent...the service is OK and sometimes less than OK...I'm tired of those video montage thingies...and the people can be a little bland (ouch sorry).

Freddy's is NOT that great of a bar.
Picking the best 10 bars in Brooklyn is super tough. Instead they should do the 10 biggest douche bars in Brooklyn. Or the 10 stinkiest bars.

donatella.
a "dive bar" would be fucking awesome. a "dive bar" plays good music and has cheap beer.
please do not confuse this with a...
"douche bar" aka "sports bar". a "sports bar" has a bunch of tv sets, jaeger, and corporate douche bags.
don't get me wrong i love sports...but i get my sports on in a living room.

it's because you're polling is not entirely sample of people who can all actually afford these homes. if you want a more accurate result you need to poll people who are in a certain income bracket, looking for a home, have some knowledge about actually purchasing a home in brooklyn.
