Beautiful antique radiator 4sale
Salvaged from a 1870s brownstone in Manhattan. Not sure when this was installed, but it was on the Parlor floor and is in very good condition. First reasonable offer will be accepted - must be picked up.

I'm currently using M Rahman Construction to restore my lower 2 floors and the stoop stairs. We're about 1/2 way done so far and I'm very pleased. After working with a less than honest contractor on the inside renovation, I'm thrilled to have someone professional, pleasant AND competent. Why is that so hard to find today? Anyway, you can reach Rahman at M Rahman Construction - 347.768.9938

Feel free to email me directly for photos - I'm excited with the progress.

I'm currently using M Rahman Construction - (347) 768-9938 (www.brownstonefacade.com) and I'm very happy. Of course I started with a brick exterior that looked like an office so the fact it now looks like a brownstone is amazing in and of itself. Still, Rahman is extremely pleasant to work with and very professional. I priced him against 3 or 4 others and he seemed to be the most reasonable contractor who still knew what he was doing. I'll post photos when done.

Did anyone ever find out about a New York approved roof hatch? I've seen them for sale by Bilco, for about $750 incl freight, but I wasn't sure if that's NYC approved?

I sold my marble fireplace (kicking myself now) to Olde Good Things. They gave me $5,000 in trade credit, and then posted it for sale on their website the next week for $35,000!!!! Ouch.

He's doing a great job on my place and was the best value by a long shot. Check back in 20 years and I'll let you know if I still feel that way :)
