This racial breakdown is not surprising at all, but it is encouraging, and it shows the ridiculousness of criticisms that the project will cause gentrification--a charge made by the gentrifiers themselves.
Count me in as a white, Fort Greene resident who ardently supports the project. I wish I had been at that meeting.

for the record, the times has opined on at least two other occasions that i can recall. they've been consistent in their qualified support since the beginning.
