Thanks for the link to the Edible Brooklyn piece on D. Maldari & Sons Extrusion Dies. Very cool to know.

Trader Joe's at Court and Atlantic? It's official, I really need to move back to Brooklyn...
7 Greene was fun for drinks and smelled delicious (the kitchen had just closed when we visited)--looking forward to trying the food. Just don't make the mistake of asking the bartender for a "big" wine, or you will end up with 64 ounces of swill.

The broccoli is a great idea, but on the night I ate here it was not very well executed. At first, in the dim mood lighting, I thought there was some kind of gooey center to the dish, surrounding the broccoli stalks, which seemed strange. Then I realized it was underdone tempura batter. It still nauseates me to think of, and it definitely tainted what was otherwise quite an acceptable dinner.
