it's funny that 2 young black men are a "front" for something that you guys don't seem to get or understand. why is FRONT the first thing that comes to mind.
maybe they sell online?
maybe they're trust fund kids who wanna sell kicks because it inspires young kids in the park slope area?
is it fair to assume that you guys stand in there shop all day counting their customer purchases? or are you assuming that "NO ONE" shops there because when you happen to walk by the space is empty?
maybe you're not into the sneaker culture to fully understand what it is they are doing?
or maybe the rent is cheap?
or you're some jerk making stereotypical references about 2 black men playing video games in a store that they own?
is it fair to say the same for the pussy cat boutique? they never have people in their store... matter of fact you can't even see in the store! but the minimal designed, clean, manhattan styled shop is the front? really?
if you took the time to get to know them you would know that 1 of the owners was a pre-med student in undergrad and went on to grad school at columbia university. YES he graduated from both... ask for his degrees they're in the back of the shop. the 2nd guy is finishing up undergrad and was successful in real estate sales.
i guess it's better to accuse them of being a "front" when most likely they are more accomplished than most of you commenters.
duh!
