Not bad, but pricy for what it is. For better Mexican, head to Barrio across the street.

I hope these guys pull it together. It is the same manager/owner as Hanabi -- REALLY nice people who care about the neighborhood. I live around the corner and was so excited to see this coming -- I had visions of a 3x/week takeout stop on my way home from work. It's kind of overpriced for what it is, and their cooking method leaves it a bit dryer than rotisserie chicken. But when you compare it to the rotisserie chicken (with beans, rice, tortillas, and sauces) that you can get at Uncle Moe's, or the chicken specials from Coco Roco, it's not a great value for what it is.
What a great feature.
It's amazing that only about a quarter of the Brooklyn Museum got built (the illustration of the right is a rendering of the full plan).

This place used to be so good (10+ years ago), but now it's an awful, tasteless, greasy mess. Red Hot II is soooooo much better, as is Hunan Delight!

Dull, dreary food and indifferent service. Why go here when there are lots of good Italian options on 7th Ave (Enoteca Sette, Sotto Voce, etc.)?
Definitely BAM -- either the Cafe or Leperq Space. What a great location for a fashion show!

"Rancho Mediocre" is more like it. I agree with the comment above that it all went to crap a couple of years ago. Nice people, but the food is substandard.
g man, those numbers are what BAM receives on an annual basis to operate. They are a CIG -- the City owns their building and provides significant annual funding.
BAM is also getting City capital dollars for their new theatre.
These numbers have nothing to do with the BAM Cultural District. BAM has nothing to do with the BAM Cultural district other than geography. All of the organizations building and moving in are completely independent.
