I've had mice and squirrels in various apartments, and have also had BATS! All are a nuisance (and a potential health hazard) but mice and squirrels are much easier to catch. Continue to contact your landlord about an exterminator and pick up some traps or glue boards for your own apartment.

The article is over a year old. It's dated Sunday February 3, 2008 and the sale occured on 1/31/08. Looks like most of the stories on "Blockshopper" are from sales in Brooklyn Heights from last year. Very stale information.

if you have mice, then you don't have rats. the two will not coexist in a building.
so in a way it's good news to see a mouse. there are probably mice in nearly every building in nyc. but when they begin to invade your space, you should call an exterminator. and plug up holes where they enter your apartment.

This is one of the best places in the neighborhood. We eat there at least once a week. I LOVE their tortas, probably the best I've had in NYC. They also make 3-4 different types of hot sauce, all very tasty. They recently added live music a few nights a week which is nice, but I miss the charm of the old space next door. Breakfast specials are excellent too!
