i have a cast iron spiral stair with brass railing from the 30s. the diameter of the staircase is 54 inches.the height from landing to landing is 11 feet. what is your email i will send you a pic.

I have taken my son to the emergency room once with his teeth through his face because of this staircase. I am removing it.

Funny how avoiding any injury whatsoever is sole goal of parenting now, when a mere generation ago it was building character and inner courage and strength by letting kids take risks sometimes, and test themeselves. Children are never allowed to make any decisions on their own anymore.
