Built-Ins for Home Office
We are looking to create a home office with built-in desks, cabinets, and shelves. Does anyone have any recommendations for doing this? We have looked at California Closets, which seem competent, but pricey. Thanks for any suggestions!

combination hot water/heating unit
Does anyone know of a plumber or plumbing company that can service a Trianco Heatmaker Mark II unit? Our unit is no longer providing heat, although it still provides hot water. Thanks!

Our heating system doesn't seem to be working correctly, and our apt is freezing. Who can I call if I think it may be a problem with the thermostats?

need recs for good management or maintenance companies
Our mixed-use 10 unit condo building (has both residential and commercial space) needs to find a new management or maintenance company for routine and emergency maintenance and for project management of some large capital projects that will be coming up. Does anyone have any recommendations of good, reliable Brooklyn companies with reasonable fees? We already have someone who does the financial management of the building, so would prefer a pure maintenance company. Thanks for any recommendations!

Weekend construction
I live in a condo building which includes both commercial and residential units. Recently, one of the commercial units has been performing interior construction, including on weekends, occasionally resulting in unannounced interruption of water service to the residential units. Can anyone tell me if they need a special permit to perform construction in our building on the weekends, and whether I can report them the DOB for the unannounced interruption in our residentisl water service?

Our hot water heater/boiler combo unit is not working, and we need to find someone to fix it. It is an old Heatmaker Mark II model... no longer made. Does anyone know a good plumber who might be familiar with these units? Thanks!

For what it's worth, we received the same letter from Chase last fall, despite the fact that we have excellent credit, live in prime landmark North Slope, and the comps in our area were and still are holding steady. I was considering appealing, but considering that we were not really drawing on the account, decided it was not worth the time or money. Not sure what their "proven valuation method" is, but I bet it's crap.

Just to clarify for "Shoots and Leaves", I meant Mitchell's Fish and Chips (http://www.yelp.com/biz/mitchell-fish-and-chips-brooklyn), which is a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant with great fried chicken. I assume you meant the Mitchell's on Flatbush?

We have a combination hot water heater/boiler, and we have not had any trouble with the hot water (yet!). I think we have a hot water heating system, but I'm not really sure. The thermostat keeps giving a message "Check system" which we are able to override. The thermostat doesn't consistently turn on even when the air temperature is below the programmed temperature. The problem may well be the boiler, but I'm not sure who I should call to help me figure this out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially before the temperature really starts to drop.

Great neighborhood joint for those in-the-know. Total hole-in-the-wall with absolutely no ambience, but amazingly good soul food. Fried chicken is some of the best in the area, but the sides are also great. The owner was very friendly when we ate there with our kids. Prices are low, considering how good the food is.
