Pigeons taking over

We have multiple pigeons roosting above the windows of our brownstone- does anyone have any advice on how to get them to stop hanging out & crapping on the house?
THanks very much

R.E. Lawyer /affordable housing?

Looking for a referral for a good Brooklyn Real Estate lawyer who is familiar with affordable housing offering plans. Got picked for a lottery and must decide soon to take it or not and want to fully understand what I would be getting into.

Do you need any more proof that the Gowanus should be designated a Superfund Site?

SDS Procida- should clean up their ghost lot on the corner of Congress and Hicks! Money aside,I don't think it means the neighborhood should have to live with their mess,at least maintain the property while you are looking for financing! There is trash all over, the neighborhood is left to deal with a very dangerous pedestrian blind spot caused by their sidewalk shed and panels of their shed that fall down every time there is a strong wind.

I am sure this is the case with a lot of the other frozen sites too.

Just to clarify-This project was never delayed by community input. The property was going through ULURP,during which time the developer and the community were working together. They had their financing all lined up right before the economy started to tank. It has pretty has stayed on schedule. The developer has done a great job working with the community and continues to do so.

Even if they have more than just deli meats it still won't matter... because it still comes from the main Boars Head commissary kitchen where things like gravy and salad dressing still are "made" fresh everyday by simply cutting open plastic bags and placing in the proper container.

Remember just because they did do a pretty quality job with the space, tile floors, nice equipment ie:turbo chef oven, good layout .... It's still just BOARS HEAD MEATS! now if they could have only opened a Schaller & Weber deli then it would be reason for excitement.

I have 2 children at PS 29 People say the school is "not overcrowded" and still has "room to grow" but to me the numbers are almost at the limit- they just took the teachers break room and turned it into a classroom.

Why does Mayor Mike & Co. believe in pushing everything to the limit?
The break things and then spend years trying to fix them.
I am pro much needed affordable housing ,but against reckless, not needed luxury condos- there is simply not a luxury condo shortage crisis in this city. A majority of folks buying these condos figure on sending their kids to public schools because they are carrying such high mortgage payments.

An "unforeseen downside" are you kidding? Anyone with half a brain saw this coming.
