You know, I read this website quite often for many reasons...without much to say. Sometimes, I find it extrememly humorous how so many posters go into their neighborhood statistic rants. I've lived in Brooklyn quite awhile. I'm not sure there are really any neighborhoods that are not within walking distance of the hood...whatever you may consider that to be.

Whether you live in Park Slobe, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene, Bed-Stuy or Williamsburg (which I find hilarious when people try to defend the sketchiness here and I'm not sure why)...all Brooklyn neighborhoods have areas and blocks that leave something to be desired! I find it funny that to define/defend these neighborhoods, posters go as far to use streets and parks and corners and precincts to decide which part of the neighborhood is most desirable.

This is just the psychology of leveling. My corner/park/precinct/store is better than the one down the street. It's stupid. You guys have to remember, you live in NYC.

Thanks Kingston, it was funny to me too!

These houses were relocated around 1998-1999. As far as I know, they have never been inhabited by anything but boxes and file cabinets. At one point they stopped cutting the grass for about a year and they started to look really bad...inside and out. They are very nice looking, but I'm not sure what the point if they are not being used for anything productive.

Ummm...I don't think all people who use meth clinics are poor. And how do you know whether the people that use the clinic live or vote in the area?

There are a LOT of so-called middle class and upper class people addicted to heroin. Watch the news, read the papers, better yet...go to a bar on the Upper East Side or the donut shop on 23rd Street near the C train.

What does this have to do with the foreclosure?...Again, this New York!

Oh I wasn't aware that affluent people prefer coke and middle class prefer pot. Those good ole working class folk (because people that make over 100K are not working class)...simply drink and smoke. Thanks for clearing that up, you're super smart.

Which category to you fit into? Coke or pot? Or are you a poor working class stiff with your Thunderbird and Newports in hand?

What does this have to do with the foreclosure?
