I talked to the broker. The rent is $2650/month for each duplex.

Marielle Anzelone at drosera-x.com (info@drosera-x (dot) com) does gorgeous garden landscaping exclusively with plant species that are native to NYC. Invasive plants = bad news, i guess.

Can anybody recommend someone who just does maintenance for a reasonable price? We already have the basic structure in place but we need someone to come out once a month or so and spruce things up, fill holes etc. Any help much appreciated!

I am really good at "filling holes" 5:12. I will even "Spruce things up" for you at no additional charge.

We used a great landscape architect named Tyler Horsley. He helped us completely redesign our garden when we renovated our house this year on Douglass Street. I can't recommend him highly enough. His number is 718 302-5923

Second the recommendation of Tom Castimore. He's done the yard for my brownstone in Cobble Hill since the time of the prior owners. Lovely work and lovely to work with.

Chuck from Dig was fantastic. He did our garden in Ft. Greene -- he had great ideas, a wonderful crew and got the job done on time. We couldn't have been happier with his work. His shop is fab too. Good Luck.

Ditto for the comments about Chuck at Dig. Last summer he created a lovely perennial garden in the back of our Boerum Hill brownstone. I also highly recommend his fencework.

Agree 100% with Park Slope poster. Jonathan quoted us at a fraction of the other estimates we got and he (and his partner Ryan) did a fantastic job on our backyard. They built a fence and did all the stonework and planting themselves. I highly recommend them: honest, smart, hardworking, and great to work with. Jonathan's number is: 917-692-2054.
