Medicine Cabinet
I am looking for a place that sells reasonably priced medicine cabinets. Any suggestions? I like the look of this one - but it was too expensive for me.

Sink and Vanity Supplier
Can anyone recommend a store that sells good quality modern sinks/vanities for bathrooms at a reasonable price? (I like the sink and vanity below to give you an idea of the type I'm looking for)

BlueWater Plumbing ?
I'm thinking of using Roger from Bluewater Plumbing to do the plumbing work for my renovated condo. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with him or the company?
Many thanks for any input.

Licensed Plumber & Electrician
I live in the brooklyn heights/cobble hill area. Can anyone recommend a licensed reasonably priced plumber and electrician. I am putting in a new kitchen and bathroom and there is some plumbing and electrical work to be done. I live in a co-op so they need to be licensed.
Thanks in advance, S.

Call Paul from WCK Electric. I used his company for my renovations and they were great. Not sure if he will do a small job like this -- but its worth a try.

I had a really bad experience w/Bella Tile. Originally they told me the tile would be ready in 7-10 days. Its' 4 months later and I just received the tile. They also lack in customer service. One woman was nice there - -Mandy & Anna (the owner's secretary). However, the rest of the store's employees(especially the manager) were the worst customer service people I have ever met. The owner -- while he tried-- did not make my experience w/the store any better.
On a good note -- I have had very good experiences w/Nemo Tile. They are honest, good prices (especially if you get an architect to order for you)-- and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend their store in the city (their queens location was small.. but I did pick up tile there and they were very nice and helpful).

Someone at A&K Tiles needs to be shot for signing off on that website.....
Am I the only one who noticed it?

I strongly recommend Christopher John Electrical 718-389-9898.They will give you same day service.I had them rewire my older home and they were friendly and extremely clean. They even covered their shoes! I got a price up front so I didn't have any surprise fees. They had everything they needed right in their truck so they didn't have to take the extra time to go get supplies. I am going to use them during my whole restoring process!!

I had wanted something specific in a medicine cabinet, and found a place that did a custom-made medicine cabinet for less than a high-end Robern would have cost. Very nice work.
If it still exists, it's a place out on Long Island called Glissade.

I also recommend Nemo Tile. The showroom is kind of a pain and they are always swamped... but for more basic things like small glass tiles or slate tiles, etc., I go to their warehouse which is just around the corner and they have the basics on display. They will sell you individual tiles if you need a few more tiles. As opposed to the Complete Tile Collection that sells you an entire box of tile if you need only a couple of additional tiles and if tiles arrive broken, they insist you did it because it's sidewalk delivery and therefore you can not prove that it arrived that way. I also agree with the poster above that Nemo is honest. Fast delivery and fairly priced.. next day if it's in stock.

I know this post is quite late but as a suggestion, you might want to try this Dunhill Oval Medicine Cabinet I found online.

I went to A & K yesterday and received such all-time horrible service that I had to post it somewhere.
Apparently, I came at the wrong time beacause both employees were sitting down to lunch and were otherwise occuppied. They sat behind their desks and answered some of my questions while chewing. At one point, I asked, "Does this tile come in different sizes or finishes?" and the woman said, "I don't know which one you're talking about." WHILE SITTING AT HER DESK CHEWING.
At that point, I began asking for the makers of the tile samples so that I could figure out the answers to my questions on my own. Frustrated, I decided to leave.
As I was leaving the store, the male employee says to the woman, "She was asking for the manufacturers so that she could go out and buy it somewhere else. Can you believe people do that?" The woman replied, "Yeah, I know what she was doing." I'm still in shock that a business could operate this way.
