Overrated. There is so much group-think with Luger's. The only reason people like this place is because you're supposed to like it. Its nice that there's a proper steakhouse in Brooklyn, but let's be honest, it’s a pain to get to, the surly waiters are passé and the food is as you would expect at an expensive steakhouse. Besides all the "Luger's is the Best! The BEST!" commentary, what's the attraction?

I think Luger's is past its prime and rests too much on its reputation. If you want an old school, unpretentious steakhouse, there are plenty of others that will treat you well and feed you right. Keens, Old Homestead… By the way, I've lived in Brooklyn for a long time and can't stand Manhattan, so this isn't some boro-war comment.

We're planning to install pebble tile this weekend...has the tile worked out other that the sealing issue? Is it hard to keep clean? Is it cracking?
