As a Brooklyn Brewery (and beer) lover, I think Hindy misspoke. He meant to say, "we want to be in one of the up and coming and lucrative Brooklyn neighborhoods."
I'm quite sure there's real estate all over Brooklyn he could move to. It just might not be in Williamsburg or DUMBO.

You know what would be the perfect compliment to a great new bike lane?
Traffic enforcement by the cops.
You know what helps reduce speeding? Speeding tickets. How many consecutive rush hours of speeding tickets would it take for people to get the picture?

We're generally optimistic longer-term about the blocks on either side of the BQE
You are? I'm optimistic about the side street blocks perpendicular to the BQE, but I don't see the buildings along the BQE, such as this one, ever being pleasant places to live.
