I would love, love, love a bookstore in Ft Greene. We usually walk over to Book Court, but it'd be nice if we didn't have to go so far.
The only open retail space that I know of is on Fulton where the New Orleans restaurant used to be, but I'm sure the rent is a fortune.

They are closed on Mondays, but open the rest of the week. We get takeout about 2-3 times a month and it's always consistently good. Re the pricing, I'm not sure how a burger + beer at Mullanes (or anywhere else) will run $8, but can confirm that 2 of Burger 67's specialty burgers (western, parisian, etc) plus an order of fries is around $20.
AIG's core insurance business is fine.
