Not long ago this post would have easily drawn 100+ comments right out of the gate.
What happened? Where did everyone go?

I'd just like to point out that this is in Crown Heghts, NOT Bed Stuy.

Actually, that's not a myth of the internet. A roommate of mine in college used software like that to posts ads on Craigslist...hundreds of 'em. Scary, actually.
But be that as it may, Jack, I'm in 100% agreement with you that manditory registration is the way to go. It's time to clean house on Brownstoner.

I'm with you, BrooklynLove.

I think the move to mandatory registration is a positive step.

This event is definitely a "can't miss". I hope lots of you will come.

A fake identity? Whatever could you mean by that? True, my social security card doesn't say "White and Proud in PLG", but I'm guessing yours doesn't say "guest" either. More to the point, my handle is not a name at all but a description, one that I satisfy along with many others.
And Bob, I've lived in PLG for a good long while and I will not be leaving anytime soon. The future holds good things for our neighborhood, I think, and I look forward to watching the change.

You all underestimate PLG. The residents here have worked very hard to clean the neighborhood up and we have had real success. Is there still much to be done? Yes, of course. But we're getting there, one step at a time.

Saul restaurant is great. 241 Smith could turn out to be great as well. I'll certainly give it a shot.

Let's just ignore the trolls and get back to the house.
Please.

8:46 that is bullcrap. These cries of discrimination are ridiculous. There were plenty of blacks at the salvage fest. If you felt discriminated against then maybe next year you should keep your black ass in the projects.

I would definitely require registration for the site. There's just too much static otherwise.

Brower Park is a total dump. Not even worth getting worked up about.

Couldn't have said it better myself, 9:49.
