Lot Line Windows Being Sealed!
Help! I am in a coop apartment with lot line windows. A building is going up next door and my windows are being sealed(!! what a year!!) My coop is paying for the sealing outside. Does anyone know if they have any responsibility for any inside work such as sheet rocking? Are there any statutes or guidelines on the books I can check out? And does anyone know what the best methods are, inside and outside (such as does it matter if you remove the glass before bricking and sheet rocking, or not, etc., etc). would like to research the methods for the work, so I can feel better that at least they're doing a competent job, since past renovations have been disasterous. Would really appreciate any help, any thoughts, any leads.

Thanks Iris, good idea. I have been looking for the original offering plan and by-laws, but i didn't think to look in the proprietary lease.
Am also very interested in researching the different methods for doing the work, inside and outside, and if there is more than one way to do the sealing in NYC. Would like to research if any methods are better than others before its too late, but I have been unable to locate any substanative information or even much in the way of anecodotal stories. If anyone knows of any sites or links, would appreciate it.
