Those brownstones on Berkeley that you are referring to were all multi-family buildings(2 of 3 were rooming houses I believe) I dont know how the buyer found them but they would have had to been all cash deals, making the buyer pool much smaller to begin with

I have a pitbull on my block in the slope that is constantly off his leash. What can I do about it, I feel a call to the cops would be excessive, is there any recourse?

Not quite 30 yet but grew up in the neighborhood and remember well the days of Al's Toy Land. I miss the corner sicilian slice from Bens Pizza, a lost neighborhood treasure.
