A burrito is not that difficult to make and make well, yet this place disappoints in a big way. Very average and forgettable.

I agree with the majority here. This place is a complete disaster. In fact, I only go at the very tail end of a movie's run there -- and for matinees only! Otherwise, the experience is almost unbearable. Theaters chock full of talkers and cell phone squawkers. Absent-minded projectionists. Half-stocked concessions. Rude, slow, unhelpful staff. Long, convoluted treks to theaters. Out of order escalators. I could go on...

I love this idea. Besides being much needed, it makes smart use of existing infrastructure and could really bring some old school charm to the area.

The atmosphere is nothing special, but this place is great for one reason: the food. I love, love the roast pernil (a heaping portion, perfectly succulent and served with lime). Carne guisada (beef stew) and tostones are excellent. Other menu items have yet to disappoint. I've been to many latin places like this in Manhattan, but this is one of my favorites.

I love this place, too. The atmosphere is okay, so I usually get delivery. Great food at low prices. Favorites include: lentil soup, shish tawouk sandwiches and the feta cheese app. Always tasty and very satisfying!

Car service reviews I would be absolutely be into, but this "story" is a complete waste of space. Come on, Brownstoner!

This is one of my favorite places, too. Very good food and a great staff. It'll be a shame to see it go away, quietly into the night.

I don't know if this is cause for celebration. It has got to be one of the uglier buildings in the area -- just heinous -- especially in contrast to Cobble Hill Towers across the Street.
