We were at their open house. The 3 bedroom units were spacious and well laid out but unfortunately located on the lower floors. The 2 bedrooms although located on the higher floors had some strange layouts. In a couple of the 2 bedrooms, you'll find a column firmly planted in the middle of the room or right in front of the window. I just can't understand why the architech didn't hide those columns in the walls or between closets and bathrooms. It's a prime location and just a few blocks from Union St. Can't understand why there are not more buyers.

They look rather attractive. At least they used real bricks, not that fake stucco crap and the developer even tried to hide the air conditioner sleeves. I would be proud to own a couple of these babies at $50K. The moat like front is kinda nice and functional. Deters home invasion.

No way! It only has one exposure and just two windows, plus it's not even on a high floor. Calling it a 2 BR is a real stretch.

They seem to have run out of balcony material at the top floor. Are the gates in front of the 1st floor units considered private front yard spaces? They'll need to climb out of the windows to use it. Just like we did when we used the fire escapes as urban balconies. Such memories.

The middle one is kind of like a Trojan soldier. There's a shield on the left held out to keep the irate neighbor next door at bay and the Trojan helmet thingy (diving board) on top.

On the middle one, how did they get away with the extra wall jutting out like that? Wouldn't it cast a shadow over the adjacent building? The stairs appear to be located in the center of the building and protrudes through the roof. It's exposed to all the northern elements making it high maintenance and conducive to accidents.

What are those supports located on the right side of the building above the garage? Are they holding up the building?

It shows that no nabe is spared in this economy. Yes, we've fallen on hard times. One word, Degentrification! You see, it's a buyer's market, even Dee&Dee is relocating from downtown brooklyn to PS.
